I saw in the Lakeland Vs Trine Dual at UW Whitewater that R. Frias beat Romer due to flagrant misconduct. Does anyone know exacly what happened there? Was Frias ahead when the miscondiuct occured?
Frias crossfaced romer while on top. Romers mouth was open and due to the crossface it looked like romer was biting him. There were teeth marks but it was unintentional. Even the lakeland coach agreed, but the ref still threw romer out. I think it was a really close match when it all happened. BS call but what can ya do
For the record, Godine got beat by Alexander 5-4 in the semis at Messiah Open, not sure about med ff in wrestle backs.
FYI There was a mix up on the score sheet between Lakeland and Olivet. James Myers didn’t wrestle at 165 that match the back up, Rocky Cantu, did. He was the one who lost to Lakeland.
Helbnt- To set the record straight- Godine medical defaulted at the start of the 3rd with the score tied- and some of the opponent’s points had come off injury timeout restarts when he was able to choose bottom and escape. The wrestleback was correct- medical ff.
