Saw on Augustana’s web site that there was a 1 point team deduction in the 165 match. What happened?
In the Augustana/NC 165 pound match, at the end of the match when the buzzer went off, both wrestlers kept wrestling and the Augustana wrestler put NC wrestler to the mat with a double leg tackle. Ref deducted team point. Total BS in my opinion. It was the NC wrestler who initially kept going at it after the buzzer. That said, neither wrestler did anything to deserve the penalty
