Why do you think your team deserves to be ranked? Every year you manage to get your team to sqeek into the rankings before you wrestle any good programs. I can name 15 more programs that are better then Roger Williams that aren’t ranked. The ranking committee needs to address this. The rankings do aid recruiting efforts for kids who haven’t decided where to go yet. There 5-0 and have wrestled teams AIC, Plymouth, Southern Maine,Coast Guard. They won there invite recently where Williams didn’t even bring there A squad. Have fun being ranked now, it won’t last until the next rankings.

Good points New England alum. We just wrestled in there tourney….very weak, and we didnt bring most of our top wrestlers. There was also only four teams there with Plymouth and Brown, who really didn’t bring any wrestlers.
At 133lbs, how does Clemmer and Green get ranked at top ten? Clemmer lost to Green and Green was defeated By Pauling and Flickenger at North South Duals.
Without knocking RWU, the reason they won the team title at their tournament was that they had three times as many entries as Williams who were without Malo and Paulish. That performance does not establish them as a national contender.
My buddies and I often used to joke that the nwca rankings were nothing more than something to look at and laugh at in between matches. I will say that the d3wrestle rankings seem to be constructed with much more fairness and integrity.
Andy Witzel of Augsburg is listed as a Sr., he’s actually a Jr. He graduated in 2006 from the HS my brother coaches at and I know him pretty well. Might want to change that.
How are new England Wrestling fans commenting on this board, when all New England Wrestlers are terrible.

All? Are you talking about the high school wrestlers from New England that go to College or the Wrestlers that wrestle for a New England College or Both? And ALL??????? Thats like saying ALL Football players are terrible if they don’t come from Texas. We got some talent!

All i have to say is Wartburg will crush any team out there. So if you are all fighting about who should be ranked look at the top team evry year and it will be Wartburg. Your team will never compair to ours. Bring it on anytime guys. Go Knights
Maybe for now wartburg, but we’ll see what happens when d3 adapts the new qualifier system that d1 is now using where all of a wrestlers creds get him to nationals and not just one tournament.

That may be the most idiotic thing that has been said on this post. Yes you guys have been a dynasty for awhile now, BUT ALL dynastys fall. In due time pal, in due time!!!

We have won 16 straight conference chamionships and have won 126 straight duels against conference opponents. How is that being a dynasty for a short time. Dont be jealous that we will crush your school anytime anywhere. just go home and cry about your team sucking the big on ok
