CHICAGO– Saturday, May 18 was the annual Wartburg Outfly at the Chicago Cubs game.

Wartburg alum Scott D’Agostino secretly arranged for retiring wrestling coach Jim Miller to throw out the ceremonial first pitch.

Miller was given a customized number 10 jersey (signifying Wartburg’s 10 National Championships) that had to receive permission from the Cubs as that number is Ron Santo’s retired number.

  1. A man’s life is not valued by what he gets, but what he gives. Jim Miller gave all of himself to Wartburg College and the Knights Wrestling program.

He’s a great friend and all who know him are blessed.
