As with Brockport, a number of wrestlers with DIII connections placed in the Northern Plains Regional in Waterloo, Iowa, this weekend. The winners of each weight are the final automatic qualifiers for the World Team Trials. At 55kg, Wartburg’s Gilberto Camacho placed 4th. At 60kg, former Elmhurst wrestler Jake Oster placed 4th. At 84kg, former UW-Lax wrestlers Jason Lulloff and Josh Zabel placed 2nd and 4th, respectively. 2010 NCAA champion Byron Tate of Wartburg placed 2nd at 96kg.
