Here are the last rankings before the NCAA tournament.  The next rankings will come out once the qualifier list is set and will only include those wrestlers in the tournament.  This will also be the list for the upcoming wrestling picks game, now entering its third season.  More details to come.

  1. Wow, Corey Brown from Thiel going from not even on the list to 10th at 133 has to be a record jump. Glad to see Alex Crown of Waynesburg take a big jump up and Jesse Byerly get in the rankings as well. He had an awful start to the year, but is wrestling better.

  2. So Baus from Augs is a contender huh w/a 19-14 record? Who has he beat? U have Olsen at HM and he has a 32-11 record placed in all but 1 tourn this year. Just went over 100 wins for his career. That record is in the top 5 in the nation in any div 1,2 or 3. Show some respect will ya.

  3. Olsen has 32 wins, but has 1 win against anyone above him in these rankings, and he’s lost four times to that guy since then. Losses to Youel, Marble (4x), Becker, Wake (also in the HM spot), Engelland (contender at 174), Adams, and Bizorik (also HM). He is right where his record says he should be. He beats the guys below him and loses to the guys ahead of him. He will have a chance to move up this weekend against some tough competition.

  4. U still don’t mention Baus whats he done except loose to everyone. the comparison was to show u and the ret od your readers that. This rating is bios and ur looking to get Ausburg more press. They have a great team with 2 holes Baus being one. So u can move anyone up or down it will have no effect on the outcome. Augs burg will only qualify 8 and thats it. Oh and by the way Olsen knocked out the Augsburg kid last year too so they only sent 9 to nationals. If u have any wrestling exper at all which I dought. Stop relying on statistics and actually checkout the matches in full. At least u will learn somthing.

  5. Wow, the Algonquin River is flooding with all the tears you are shedding. Does it really matter? There is no way he qualifies out of the Great Lakes Regional anyways. Of his 32 wins only 3 are against starters for their team with above a .500 record. I also think your keyboard must have a malfunction due to all of the errors in your posts.

  6. You need to seriously check yourself:

    1. Andy Vogel has significant wrestling expertise and the type of attacks that you are making are clearly the one’s that are biased…I think you might have an Olsen bias. Your comments also do not exactly demonstrate wrestling expertise…32-11 with “just over 100” career wins is in no way a top 5 any division type of record.

    2. Andy Vogel doesn’t have an Augsburg bias…he coaches in PA.

    3. Here are the facts
    Baus has wins over Willaert from St.Johns (a pretty good 197/285), Broll from Buena Vista 2X (just qualified to nationals at 197 from IA), Hagen from St.Johns (he’s beaten:Casper WW and Barclay-NQ from Luther), and Artist from LX (he’s 15-3 in D.III and has beaten Casper, Roberts-Cornell, and Durbin from Dub)…clearly with 3 names listed ahead of Baus from the GL region, no one is saying that Baus is going to nationals.

    4. No one is saying that Matt Olsen is in capable of beating those guys ahead of him “He will have a chance to move up this weekend against some tough competition” AV’s post.

  7. The link to the records is on your website check it and you will find he has the most wins in all D3 and is in the top five in wins in all divisions. So you check yourself or don’t put the links on your site. Since you have chosen to delete my last response and then reply to it w/o others being able to read just proves my earlier point. This site is ameteur hour and there is no point In debating wrestling with those who cannot keep up. One more thing if you use anymore personal information in your posts you will find yourself on the wrong side of a lawsuit. Or did they not teach you that in writing 101 at your JC. Please don’t bother to respond I have lost to many IQ points already reading your posts.
