James of Brockport beat Magill of NYU 5-3 a couple of weeks ago, but James is near the bottom at HM and Magill is a contender?
how can kwiat jump of molitor and schmitz when he has never beat either one of them
Kwait must have jumped ahead by process of elimination. Kwait beat George Markou of Trine 2x’s by TF at Wheaton and finished 3rd. Schmitz lost to Markou in OT at Wheaton and finished 5th. Molitor lost to Schmitz at National Duals.
yeh i guess it just shows how much rankings dont mean nothing when you have lost to two wrestlers but be ranked ahead of them.
because A beat B, and B beat C, does not mean A will beat C. genius

See the Wheaton tournament arguement…makes sense to me:
Who should be ranked #1? Schmitz lost to Markou, should Markou be ranked #1? Oh wait, Markou was TF’d by Kwiat twice in that same tournament.
Kwiat has not lost in D.III at 174 this year (he did bump up and lose to MtU)…I have a feeling that if the Nationals were today, he’d be the #1 seed (common opponent is a criteria)
James beat Magill in a close match where he stalled out the last 2 periods and Magill was injured.
i didnt say kwiat isnt a very good wrestler because he is. should be a very good nationals this year.

James also lost to the Springfield kid and Hopkins Kid. Magill has only one D3 loss to James at 165, That’s like arguing the Washington and Jefferson 165lb should be ranked ahead of Vicent Renault.
got to love those comets, I see at least 5 wrestlers heading to the big show, good move putting wilson at 25 and myers up to 65..coach brisette is doing a wonderful job in preparing the team.
Took in the Ithaca-DVC match last night and the Blue Bombers put on a complete beat down of the beloved Aggies. Ecker-Stierly-Woszscak and Brenon all could be finalists come March. An extremely well conditioned team.
ithaca was very tough . you could they are all in the weight room .brenon wrestled a very smart match never really taken a shot.harrington seemed to do all the work.good luck to the bombers come march.
I feel that head to head match-ups should have more weight than anything else. James was clearly the better wrestler in that match-up. I love it how a guy is always “injured” when they lose.
