  3. The most recent rankings by d3 wrestle shows that the strongest regionals are the Midwest and the Central as 25 of the top ten wrestlers in all weight classes are in the Midwest Regional and 22 are in the Central Region. Nearly half of all top 10 wrestlers are in those two regions showing that the Eastern Schools and Augsburg will have an easier time of reaching the NCAA championships. So any belly aching by the East schools are unwarrented. The East region has only 14 wrestlers in the top 10, the Mid East 13, and the Northeast 16, while the West (Augsburg) has only 10.

  4. to cal hawk… if ur talking about the current rankings which include the top wrestlers up to & including the honerable mention , then ur way off with ur stats… 6 of the top 18 wrestlers alone at the 125lb weight classs are all coming out of the eaast including bewak rice rea donaldson oboyle frankel at the 133 lb classs u have the younger oboyle along with herr & mendoza & davidson… at 141lbs u have loht gaylor marcello & peterson… etc…. just in those 1st 3 weight classes alone u have ur 14 so ur info is totally incurrect unless ur talking about ur top 8 of course.. just saying
