  1. Brooks from Elmhurst (285) has been having a terrific season — 8-2 with four Falls– but I see he hasn’t yet made it to the HM list. It’s tough following a guy like Corsello… Pretty sure he’ll be there soon!!

  2. How did mills fall out of top ten, only loss early to #5 Lutke. Also johnson #2 @197 lost to wartburg backup

  3. i know i mentioned him before and im certainly not saying he should be catapulted to #1, but gotto beat mogg and is ranked a good 5 spots lower

  4. I’m probably the biggest Jimmy Gotto fan there is, but he and Mogg have split, and Jimmy has had a few losses that he shouldn’t have. Consistency is the key. Once he gets that figured out, then look out~

  5. What about Lunberg from Trinity?? Maybe an HM?? He beat MIT 165lb Madsen who beat Favia twice this season already. He was a finalist at the Ted Reese tournament only losing to Rice form NYU.

  6. Really like the addition of Waynesburg’s Garett Johnston to the rankings. He has been the Yellow Jackets’ top wrestler this year. Not flashy at all, but hard to score on, unbeaten in duals and 14-3 overall with one loss in D III. Andy… five rankings already? You are working overtime.

  7. I agree with Bob,
The Johnson(waynesburg) flies under the radar. He wins by a few points, but his opponent usually has 0-2 points.

    No Trinity love,
The wrestler has to be consistent. Just because A beat B and B beat C does not necessarily mean that a will beat C. We all know in wrestling it’s all about the style and match ups.

  8. Why are there two guys from North Central ranked at 157? Stats on their web site show Bodi has more than double the matches at 165 than at 157…

  9. How can you rank guys who have never proven themselves as AA’s and keep guys who AA’d last year out? These rankings are popularity contests. The school with the bigger name wins. I get tired of no names jumping in and out of the rankings because they had a ‘good weekend’. It’s about consistency. We’ll see what happens come nationals

  10. who is doing these rankings? Corey BROWN AT 133 lost one match all year to Link from upj who is ranked in the nation in D2. He started 4th and somehow is now 9th

  11. If people have problems with the rankings they can do something about it.

    1. If you have a PC hit the X in the right hand corner
    2. If you have an Apple, hit the top left hand red circle.

I would agree with the Brown comment, but at the same time. Look at his record at nationals. He fizzles out at nationals.

(now the lighter side)I believe he placed 6, 7??, 8. Mathematically it makes sense he would be ranked 9th.( that was a joke reason. )

  12. Why is Camacho still ranked number 1 at 125? It would appear that Kenny Anderson is the starter for Wartburg, not him.. They have been co-champions at two tournaments, choosing not to wrestle the finals, and they have each wrestled in some dual meets. This past weekend, Anderson came in first (beating the guy that Camacho lost to in the finals) while Camacho was 3rd. Shouldn’t Anderson be ranked first?

  13. I know that I have questioned rankings as much as anyone, but lets not forget that it’s not just about what a wrestler does, but what other wrestlers do. Just because a guy goes 3-0 during a week against sub-par to good competition, doesn’t mean he should remain above another wrestler who goes 2-0 against very good to great competition.
