  1. Who’s #1 at 133? Nothern lost to Poffenberger (who is around .500), Baatar hasn’t wrestled since early in the season, and Sterling beat Winowich and Ecker…that exhausts last year’s returning AA’s (including Baatar-2008 AA). Oster lost to both of North Central’s wrestlers (unclear who their starter is going to be), and Fitzenreider lost to White. Sterling is undefeated at 133 in D.III. The only other possible #1 in my opinion is White (Wartburg) and you could make a case for him, but that only means Sterling is #2. Remember these are rankings…not predictions; lots of chances for anyone to claim or reclaim the top rankings. It is too easy to just say “foul ball”; I’d be very interested in hearing the different cases for other #1’s at 133. (seriously, no sarcasm intended)

  2. I think yeahhh is of the opinion that some good people are just entitled to be given credit and don’t have to actually prove or justify it. The only thing I dislike about the rankings are the people who aren’t wrestling for whatever reason maintaining lofty positions. It is hard to knock off people who aren’t getting sent out to compete by their teams. It is still real early though, I’m sure by the next set or two of rankings that these people will have to actually wrestle to justify their positioning.

  3. I guess sterling being number 1 just took me by suprise because I was unaware of his accolades this season, I just know about his prior history .. I was unaware of his success this season
