Here is the first set of d3wrestle.com Rankings for the 2013-2014 season. A few notes before diving in. First, there are no freshmen or non-Division III transfers on this list. They will have the chance to get into future rankings. Second, if we have information that a wrestler will not be competing until the second semester, he will not be ranked until he actually wrestles. Additionally, the NWCA Rankings have also be released and can be found below.

  1. WNE did not send a response, so he was left off based on last year’s website listing him as a senior. He will be added back with this info…thanks.

  2. The team rankings are a joke: Wisconsin LaCrosse and Elmhurst ar not even on the list, but Wisconsin Eau Claire is? And what a bout Wheaton: they have several really good wrestlers including Olsen–hes going to be a hammer this year.

  3. i see the other sites that do the rankings as well, did’nt rank camacho at 125lbs… are u sure hes elligible this yr???

  4. Nick Schuler from SJU not even H.M.? Really? You’re hilarious D3Wrestle.com. I guess returning National Qualifier doesn’t pull any weight.

  5. Schuler was a junior last year, eligibility speaking, but he chose to graduate last May. He’s no longer enrolled in college.

  6. TheGambler- do you have inside info that Schuler is back? We do want to get it right and no disrespect was meant to Schuler- just our understanding that he’s not back.

Camacho is supposed to be back 2nd semester- that was a miss on our part and he won’t be ranked until he wrestles moving forward. Others, like Balsiger, aren’t in the rankings because we received notice that they will be joining the team 2nd semester.

  7. i was wondering the same thing about anderson & my best guest on giorgio is that he once again certified at 125lbs but will wrestle the season once again at 133lbs & then possibly drop 4 the ncaa tourny (again just my guess) 🙂

  8. On a side note, NWCA doesn’t even rank SJU in the Top 25. That’s not right. They’ve finished Top 20 the last 5 years, and they beat Augsburg last year. They also have a deep roster. They’re not going to lose to Eau Claire, who they beat 42-9, and 46-3 last year. Also, Concordia MN at #24? Absolutely no love for Minnesota teams in the NWCA rankings.
