Click below for the second set of d3wrestle.com Rankings for the 2o12-2013 season. This is a tough time of the year where not everyone has competed yet, so some choices had to be made. Additionally, there are cases where a wrestler appears below a wrestler he has beaten this season. When this happened, it was based on the strong track record of the losing wrestler and the acknowledgement that there is a difference between rankings and seedings. As we get more data, the rankings will improve.
What happened to Fitzenreider from North Central? He was listed as a freshman 2 years ago and then placed 3rd his sophomore year at 133 and then 2nd last year at 125 lbs. I would have thought he was a senior this year.
Where is Rau from elmhurst? saw he was ranked @197 now absent.
Fleck is out for the rest of the year. Rea is the man! He won the Kings tournament and shoud be at least HM!
Rea beat Arntz (York) 9-0 in the finals at Kings and Arntz is HM.
i would agree with rea being in at h.m. but having said that i would also move frankel out as well.. hes not wrestling as well as fleck. 4 that matter herr at 133lb is not wrestling either. move all of those guys out until they get on the mat. i would also move the younger dierna in at 125lbs as well. buti must say most of the rankings are dead on.. very nice job so early in the season.. im very appreciative of the work these guys put in 2 these rankings.. tyvm 4 all ur time.

Are Frankel and Herr out for the season? Any other credible info on who may not be wrestling this year, but still is in the rankings would be appreciated.
Anderson, Windquist, Stinson, Early, Grice, Caserta, Lenhardt, Broderick, Steinmetz, Burns, Glover, Faber, Schmitz, Giaramita, Brooks, Bouressa,and Wilkinson have all not wrestled even though their teams have competed…let us know if there is any inside scoop available.
Earley has wrestled. He beat Chicago by major decision.
Rankings, Fleck is recovering from injury sustained at nationals but not sure about his status.

Fitzenreider is wrestling unattached at the Concordia Open right now… Rau is also wrestling 184 with elmhurst at that open.. not sure why they arent on these rankings

not a complaint here just more of an observation i suppose, 6 0f the top 15 guys in the nation at 125lbs are coming out of the east region, barring any injuries or shuffeling of weights of course. u have paul bewak, mike fleck, or gueseppe rea from wilkes,frankle from del val, o’boyle from mcdaniel, rice from hunter, & donaldson from ursinus.. now thats some pretty tough competition there 4 sure..
Gibson (Whitewater) has wrestled unattached at both Luther open and Concordia. Also, he’s not wrestled in any duals–Zeh has wrestled instead in all their duals. Do unattached wrestlers still get ranked? I thought they cannot compete in the regionals/nationals…
