  1. These rankings really leave me shaking my head sometimes. They dropped Nick Garber of Waynesburg from second at 141, to 10th at 133, to 10th at 141 in their last three rankings. Meanwhile, he’s won 13 of his last 14 bouts with his only loss coming to Jimmy Conroy, the starter for Pitt. Before winning a decision against Penn State-Dubois, admittedly not his best performance at all, he won four-straight bouts by first-period fall. Oh well.

  2. Though not a Freshman as listed on their Site,Oneonta’s Chris Wade should be ranked at 174. Maybe the Coaches voted before the weekend? He beat #7 Priest from Ithaca 7-3 and the previously ranked Ciaburri from Cortland twice this season. He wrestled for Nassau CC in 2006 and 2007. He placed 5th at the NYS Intercollegiate in 2007,which was in January. Not sure how that makes him a Freshman. Anyway should be an interesting Empire Conference Semi and Final at 174.

  3. This is what happens when you have 6 guys rank the entirety of Division 3 wrestling. The only thing that matters is how they place at the end of the year anyways, but these guys are giving a lot of teams the shaft.
