Who seeds for the NCAA Championships??? Little confused on some of these.
how can sheehan of NYU be the last seed. He has qualified for the d3 nationals before, he has beat people in the current bracket this year, he won his regional , and his only 2 lossess at 184 on the year are 5-4 to the three seed Beckwith and 4-2 to the eighth seed Palmieri Something has got to be wrong with that seed
Sheehan is not the last seed. There are 8 seeds. Everyone else is randomly assigned.

AFAIK, the top 8 are seeded, the rest are drawn in randomly.
Sheehan could have been in any of the open positions, including but not limited to pigtail (first round) matches. Unlike D1, which seeds up to 16 wrestlers, D3 is limited to 8. That should not be made to indicate that Sheehan was the 16th seeded wrestler.
